About our production team:

Our producer Samantha Young, has a background in creating television programs, commericials and corporate videos - both for broadcast and for online use. She’s produced for networks like The Weather Channel, Turner Networks, Women’s Entertainment and Showtime and for companies like Delta Air Lines, Bell South, MCI, American Cancer Society, and Sherwin Williams.

Our director Michael Pietrobon is an award-winning cinematographer whose work has been seen on PBS, Showtime, The Weather Channel, and A&E, to name a few.  Armed with a trademark blend of fun and confident artistry he has directed and photographed presidents, celebrities, supermodels and captains of industry.  But it is perhaps his work with real, everyday people that has most earned him a reputation as a strong and capable director, eliciting performances filled with subtlety, emotion and quirky good humor. 

Michael’s feature length and short film work has been screened at festivals around the world and as a broadcast documentary producer has created hallmark programming that has received critical acclaim and praise from both the scientific and educational communities.  He is based in California and has worked extensively throughout North America, Western and Eastern Europe, Asia and India.
