History of Electric Lemonade - Wayne Shifflett

Wayne Shifflett established Electric Lemonade in 1999. As one of the first web firms to specialize in all aspects of Internet marketing, Electric Lemonade has grown to be one of the the largest advanced Internet marketing agencies in the Southeast. With over twelve years of experience in the Internet marketing industry, Mr.Shifflett continues to pioneer the fundamentals that combine web development technology with online marketing strategies to drive qualified traffic and sales.

Prior to the inception of Electric Lemonade, Mr.Shifflett served as the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Director for AT&T Yellowpages.com. He helped develop and deploy a full-service search marketing solution for Yellowpages.com from the ground up. With Mr. Shifflett's extensive knowledge in web design, usability, and search engine optimization, along with his strong leadership experience, the AT&T Yellowpages.com Search marketing product went from a small team of two, to a team of over forty, and gross sales of $10,000 to over $30 million.

CompaniesPrior to Mr. Shifflett's engagement with AT&T Yellowpages.com, he acted as a web development and design consultant for numerous Fortune 500 companies throughout the Southeast.


In his role as SEO Director at AT&T, Mr. Shifflett trained at Google headquarters (Googleplex) with his staff of professional copywriters. In addition, he continues to expand his knowledge by attending search engine marketing conferences throughout the country, and has authored and contributed to many articles in the SEO community.

In addition to making Electric Lemonade a long-term success, Mr. Shifflett has several other Internet startup companies in development that will launch in 2011.
