Writing content for our clients is a large part of what we do At Electric Lemonade. But we can’t do it alone. We have learned from experience that the best way to produce the best content is to work in collaboration with our clients.
One of the best ways to work together is by recording phone interviews with our clients. These relatively short conversations yield great results in the form of ideas as well as written and visual content.
Perhaps most importantly, these interviews provide your prospective clients and customers with an honest look at who you are. They are able to make a more genuine connection with you and, ultimately, your business.
How Does It Work?
Our writing staff will thoroughly research trends in your industry, your competition, and other online resources to formulate a list of very pertinent questions that the general public is interested in that pertains to you. We like to dig deep and will often ask very granular questions that may have never been answered online in the past.
A member of our writing staff will then work with you or a member of your organization to schedule a 20 to 30 minute phone call. We’ll send the questions and talking points in advance so you’ll have plenty of time to think about what you would like to say.
After the phone interview, our writing staff will transcribe the conversation into text that can be used on your website. The audio from the interview is converted into a video with an image placeholder, and also converted into an audio file. This content has triple benefits for your organization:
- The video transcript and written content will be added to your site, increasing your visibility in search
- The videos can be uploaded to YouTube, the second largest search engine on the Internet
- The video, transcript and audio files can be reuporsed on your social media
